The Artful Art Prize is a unique collaboration between Achieve Australia and Accessible Arts, that seeks to foster creative expression and provide a platform for people to have a voice and express themselves creatively. This exciting project aims to bring together people from diverse backgrounds, abilities, and ages as a single community to explore and showcase their creative talents in a fun and social way.
The Artful Art Prize is open to all Australian residents, regardless of age, ability, location or experience. This inclusivity means everyone can participate and we can celebrate everyone's unique perspectives and experiences through the medium of art.
The primary objectives of Artful…
is to encourage creative expression for all. We recognise that creativity is different for everyone so we want Artful to be a place people feel free to express themselves in a safe and supportive space.
<p>The Artful Art Prize is divided into 6 categories, so a diverse range of artwork is showcased.</p>
<p>Each category will be judged by a panel of industry professionals who work closely with Accessible Arts, who are looking for originality, creativity, and technical skill in the artwork.</p>
<p>Winners in each category receive a gift card valued at $1,000. In addition to the cash reward, winners will also receive a series of mentoring sessions with art professionals.</p>
<p>Each mentor is a talented artist with a disability. This mentoring opportunity is an incredible opportunity for the winners to receive valuable guidance from an arts professional.</p>

All non-professional artists across Australia are invited to submit an entry to the Artful Art Prize.
About our Ambassador – Tim Ferguson
Tim Ferguson is a widely acclaimed comedian and screenwriter. He’s toured the world performing stand-up and musical comedy, co-writing dozens of live stage comedy shows and light entertainment programs.
Tim is a patron of MS Australia, and national advocate for employment of people with disabilities.

As the peak arts and disability organisation in NSW, Accessible Arts strives to advance the rights of, and opportunities for, people with disability or who are d/Deaf to develop and sustain professional careers in the arts and have equitable access to arts and culture across NSW.
For 37 years, Accessible Arts has worked with and for our community to accelerate and celebrate the diverse professional, cultural and social impacts of arts and disability. This is achieved through providing a range of programs, workshops and services which focus on career advancement, audience development and community engagement for arts practitioners and audiences with disability.
